    Welcome from the Headteacher

A very warm welcome to St Peter’s CE Primary School.

St Peter’s is a friendly and nurturing school set across two beautiful sites in the heart of our community. Visitors often comment on our peaceful, village atmosphere, and we are proud of our rich history, with parts of our Junior building dating back to 1837.

At the heart of everything we do is our strong Christian ethos and our close links with St Peter’s Church and the Diocese of Birmingham.

    Our school motto is:

    Through the Teachings of God

    We Love Others Value Everyone

It is my pleasure to welcome you to St Peter’s CE Primary School, a vibrant and caring school community at the heart of Harborne.

At St Peter’s, our Christian vision underpins everything we do: “Through the teachings of God we Love Others, Value Everyone.” These words reflect our commitment to ensuring that every child feels safe, valued and included, and that everyone in our school community is treated with kindness, dignity and respect.

We believe that every child is unique and has the potential to flourish. Our aim is to provide an ambitious, inspiring and engaging education that enables every pupil to achieve their very best, both academically and personally. We want our children to develop a love of learning, grow in confidence, build positive relationships and become thoughtful, compassionate and responsible members of society.

Our dedicated staff team works in close partnership with families, our local church and the wider community to create an environment where children feel a strong sense of belonging. Through our Christian values of Love, Respect, Honesty and Forgiveness, we encourage our pupils to celebrate differences, show compassion, learn from their mistakes and recognise the value of every individual.

We are proud of our school community and all that our children achieve. From their first steps in school to their final days in Year 6, we want every child to feel supported, challenged and encouraged to make the most of every opportunity. We are committed to helping our pupils flourish academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually, preparing them for the next stage of their education and for life beyond St Peter’s.

I hope our website gives you a flavour of the warmth, ambition and sense of community that make St Peter’s such a special place. Whether you are a current parent, a prospective family or a visitor, I hope you enjoy finding out more about our school.

Thank you for taking the time to visit us. We look forward to working together to ensure that every child has the opportunity to shine.

    With warmest wishes,

    Mrs Alison Leonard.
